Sheffield staff left shaken after bank robbery

Just after 9.20am on Friday 20 October, it was reported two men wearing face coverings had broken into the HSBC bank on Staniforth Road, Sheffield and made demands for cash before making off.

The offenders are thought to have made off in a red Mazda car, which was later found abandoned on Wilstrop Road, Sheffield. The driver of the car is thought to have been a white man, aged between 28-35-years-old, of a stocky build and to have facial hair.

A quantity of cash was stolen during the robbery and enquiries are currently ongoing into the incident- nobody was hurt.
